I made a new cat. Not a Maine Coon this time but nearly ;-) ... a Maine Coon mix. It´s been a long time since I posted something here. There was (again *sighs*) going on so much in my life. Nothing bad luckily, but so very time consuming. I really, really hope, the next month are calmer as I really have to catch upwith so much work.  I want finally do more videos about my work or better, how I work. I already started to record how I "furred" a dog and how I sculpt and "fur" a cats body. But editing and cutting etc. needs some time. But I actually uploaded a (...ok...VERY short..) video clip on YouTube how I make my flocking. Not a big deal because it´s really easy..that´s why the video is so short ;-)

Finally the awful heatwave we had here in Germany is over. We all hope, this is it for this summer. I like summer, but this long and boiling heat was no fun for all of us. Anyway.. sculpting is much easier now :-) and I made and tested some new eyes for a male sculpt and made a sketch from his head. I additional continued the work on a little 1:12 scale fairy. She needs some more painting and sanding before she will get her clothes, hair and of course...wings... :-) Something cute and "nice" before I start some Halloween-suitable sculpts ;-)

Seems like ages since I posted something.... I hope to have more time now, to continue with this blog :-) and I´m back with a...surprise..Mini Maine Coon ..lol. (SOLD)

Missed to post my last finished Maine Coon. (Sold) And this strange looking thing is my latest, selfmade sculpting tool. It is very, very thin from the side and I want to use is for the spaces between fingers, when I sculpt hands or similar. Hope it works :-)

Not that big progress today...just some corrections... Now it has to dry to touch before I can go on.

I tried to mix skintones ;-) I love the consistence of oil colors! Well...the girl has some more color now. But still a long way to go..

My tiny kitty is nearly finshed. Looking forward to paint her :-)

Working on a new, tiny, tiny kitty. I think, it will be a tuxedo with blue eyes in the end :-) I used beesputty for this little guy. Love this stuff when I sculpt tiny things.

No sculpture today, just a little painting practise. I used my tablet and procreate for this.
