    Wow, with the background contrasting the unpainted parts it's a really interesting look. So much fun to see the progress step by step

    It´s so exciting for myself..lol. Never did an oilpainting before and never thought about to do it this way either.
    It´s a project in a painting community and as I wanted to learn oil painting for a longer time now, I thought, I will
    participate in this project and see, what happens ;-)

I´m back :-)

It´s been a long time since I posted something here. There was (again *sighs*) going on so much in my life. Nothing bad luckily, but so very time consuming. I really, really hope, the next month are calmer as I really have to catch upwith so much work.  I want finally do more videos about my work or better, how I work. I already started to record how I "furred" a dog and how I sculpt and "fur" a cats body. But editing and cutting etc. needs some time. But I actually uploaded a (...ok...VERY short..) video clip on YouTube how I make my flocking. Not a big deal because it´s really easy..that´s why the video is so short ;-)

Making eyes and a 1:12 Scale Fairy

Finally the awful heatwave we had here in Germany is over. We all hope, this is it for this summer. I like summer, but this long and boiling heat was no fun for all of us. Anyway.. sculpting is much easier now :-) and I made and tested some new eyes for a male sculpt and made a sketch from his head. I additional continued the work on a little 1:12 scale fairy. She needs some more painting and sanding before she will get her clothes, hair and of course...wings... :-) Something cute and "nice" before I start some Halloween-suitable sculpts ;-)
